I chose the verb grab and with that I decided to build a claw machine with that verb.

Would an animation improve the idea of grabbing the prizes from the machine?

Does the project convey the verb grab?

Totally conveyed the verb!  Felt very exciting the first time I realized that the claw had grabbed on.  I agree with the previous comments, I think a drop feature or a little extra animation like a grabbing motion would really add something, too.

I think this is a really fun game idea!

For question one, a grabbing animation would probably improve the idea that the player is a claw that needs to grab things. I actually have a suggestion of possibly adding a "drop" feature when you've picked up the object. Normally, claw machines drop a prize down their chute, not manually extend all the way down. Perhaps you can add something like that for when players reach the end goal of grabbing the object and reaching the prize zone to streamline the winning sequence?

For question two,  I think the project overall does a very good job at conveying the "grab" verb!

I really enjoyed playing your game, I couldn't figure out the mechanics at first but it was really cool being able to pick up the ball! I think an animation probably would make it even better but it is still good without one. I think your verb comes across well in both levels!! It's really clear what the game is about/what it should do
